The Art Barn Boosters have been created to extend and enrich the Art & Design curriculum beyond the studio. Each Booster can be used as an independent learning activity, homework task, lesson extension, catch-up resource for students who have missed lessons, or as additional challenge work for those wishing to develop their creative skills further. Designed to be accessible using readily available materials at home, every Booster promotes observation, experimentation, creativity, critical thinking, specialist art vocabulary, literacy, reflection and personal expression. Together they support an ambitious, inclusive curriculum by developing independence, resilience, confidence and high aspirations while reinforcing the knowledge, skills and creative processes expected throughout Art & Design education.
